IBD + fatigue
Post Body

I have crohns and i'm so extremely fatigued it worries me. My GI did all the tests, all vitamins etc all blood test that could indicate a lack of whatsoever and all I have that lacks is low-iron, crohns induced anemia. I now take iron tablets. But i'm still so exhausted.... this is what a day of mine looks like and i'm still exhausted... (I work from home because of my energy levels, I own a small business so I can at least go at my pace)

  • 9:30 wake up & relax in bed because still exhausted
  • 10:10 cook & eat breakfast
  • 11:00 shower & get ready
  • 11:30 work
  • 12:30 nap bc so exhausted
  • 1:20 work
  • 3:00 break & snack (SO EXHAUSTED at this point)
  • 3:30 work
  • 5:30 cook supper
  • 6:00 eat supper
  • 6:45 if I have the energy i'll go for a little walk to get body moving
  • 7:30 watch TV / play a board game / play a video game / read a book etc
  • 9:00 in bed relax
  • 11:30 sleep

And then something along these lines again the next day where I'm exhausted af. I still have inflammation in my intestines, I am not in remission, some days I have horrible pain cramps, nausea, joint pain, dizziness, dehydration and 5-15 diarrheas, & chronic back pain (hernia) and some other days even if my pain levels are much lower, and less diarrhea, I still have these intense exhaustion levels. Last weekend I woke up at literally 6pm... I decided to now use my alarm to see how much sleep my body needed, it literally needed way too much I opened my eyes and was so panicked at how late it was. My GI doesn't know what to say to me anymore except that being inflammed causes fatigue and to rest. I can barely leave the house :( Anyone else experience this?
