Any IBD wheelchair users due to IBD?
Post Body

So I have crohns & it makes me have a shit ton of horrible symptoms:

• Intense diarrhea (a lot) • Extreme fatigue & weakness due to pain, diarrhea & medications • Joint pain (arthritis) • Big tummy aches & intense cramping (pressure on tummy too) • Urgency that is eased when sitting • Vagus nerve response where my legs become extra shaky and weak • Dehydration • Nausea • Anemia • Mouth & tongue ulcers • Depression

... List goes on!

I also have major chronic back pain herniated discs that is unrelated to crohns more under investigation.

I sometimes use a cane because it helps me when i'm extra weak. My partner recently when we go shopping has started offering to push me in a wheelchair to help ease my pain, help me maintain energy levels for longer when we go shopping (so i get exhausted less quick) & can enjoy my time more. It made me wonder how much this could help me sooo much more in my every day life. Obviously it wouldn't be 100% of the time only during flares & all, but I could really benefit from it and was wondering if anyone else here has used one for crohns? I kind of invalidate myself because i'm like "my legs work" but damn it makes all the difference.
