Diagnosed with UC in Oct 22, now possibly about to be diagnosed with Crohn’s also.
Post Body

Hey guys. I’m a 25 year old female. I was originally diagnosed with ulcerative colitis (proctosigmoiditis) in October 2022, however I was told during my last hospital stay that my CT results indicated that I could also have Crohn’s but then was eventually released and not told if I officially did have Crohn’s or not. Curious if anyone else has a similar situation and maybe could tell me what these CT results mean. I’m including the portion that I was told caused the concern for possible Crohn’s. They still definitely have me diagnosed with UC.

“Mucosal enhancement and narrowing of the terminal ileum and ileocecal walls and a short segment narrowing and mucosal enhancement of the ileum consistent with inflammatory bowel disease.”
