It seems Derren Brown has been requested before but not for several years. I watched the new show "The Push" on Netflix and was intrigued by the concept of the feature. IMO this would make an interesting and probably controversial AMA.

My 5 Questions:

  1. What would have happened if the contestant hadn't complied very early in the charity event? Did you have contingency plans if something went wrong?
  2. Did this production drive your legal team absolutely bananas? There must have been ideas that were shut down
  3. It is shown that you can make people do some pretty strange things using authority, like walk out of a cafe with a prim. In doing so, someone pretended to be law enforcement. IANAL but police impersonation is a crime in many places. Would you say that in order to manipulate someone as you did crimes would have to be broken to do so?
  4. The "dead" man is named "Bernie". Is this a nod at the famous film "Weekend at Bernie's"? What other hidden nuances were tucked into the show that viewers may have missed?
  5. Finally, what got you interested in compliance and what work is being done to better understand this area?
