I’m just gonna put this first and say that I’m venting and I realize this may not be the place to air some dirty laundry but maybe there are others out there who are experiencing the same issues.

I recently sent out a message trying to inform the body of my local about some of the benefits that we are missing out on. The only thing that our percentages get invested into is annuity. No pension. No heath/wellness. And a message I get back from one of the board members is that I should’ve relayed it to him to distribute to the body. Like it’s disheartening to hear that firstly. I’m just trying to do my part to be a good brother.

I left a job that decent health care coverage to pursue a job that I’m extremely passionate about. I have genetic disorder that cause tumors to grow just about anywhere in the inside and outside of my body. I’ve been hospitalized a couple of times for attempts on my life, I’m no longer able to afford a psychiatrist and the mood stabilizers they prescribed. Everyday is a struggle. And I’m honestly just wondering if I even made the right choice.
