I think the latest season of IASIP was as funny as ever. The season premiere “The Gang Inflates” had some of the best jokes and gang interplay that I’ve seen on the show in years. Also, the reveal of a second bedroom in Charlie’s apartment had me absolutely dying of laughter.
It feels like after leaving Ireland, The Gang has gone back to basics a bit with some of these episode premises: hair-brained schemes that allow for wacky subplot shenanigans and also build on the show’s lore.
The one exception for this season, I think is, unsurprisingly, “Celebrity Booze; The Ultimate Cash Grab,” which I found pretty boring despite being another clever example of the show embedding the cast’s real life exploits within an IASIP meta-narrative.
Would love to hear what everyone thought of Season 16.
So happy that I’m finally caught up. I love this fucking show so much, man.
