I know cars in general get worse MPG in the winter but a 22% decrease seems bad..

I notice on the highway, even when the battery is almost 100% charged it will very rarely switch to electric mode now. In the summer/fall it would stay in all electric mode for like 2.5 mins at a time and run the battery down below 50% before switching back to gas

Anyone else experience this?

The issue is this sub is A LOT of fanboys (which is strange to be of a soccer mom car but I digress)

Personally I think these vehicles are flawed. In September, unless you were driving like a psycho, you should have easily hit 34, let alone 36.

Notice no one in this thread addressed my comments about how and when the battery electric mode kicks on. That issue is beyond the pearl clutching of “it’s cold so it’s going to do worse”. Because yes that’s true but when the battery is full it should still run electric while cruising until it’s 50% depleted.. that’s how it’s designed but it’s not doing that now.

I also have squeaks and rattles everywhere (Alabama assembled)

And my crank case pressure sensor is broken and they’ve yet to replace it.

Face it, we got hosed
