2015 Santa Fe driver side brake light

So, when I turn my lights on my driver side rear light is on, but when I press my brake the light goes off and there’s no brake light. I’ve tried to replace the bulb before and when I go to check if it works, it’s the same thing. The light is in but there no brake light when I press the pedal. Could it be the bulb connector, or the whole wiring harness?
