I love the design of the new car and our Calligraphy is arriving in two weeks, but nothing is perfect (apart from me), so here is my light-hearted countdown of five design dislikes in the current model.
THE KEY FOB
Too big, too round, too easy to scratch, and doesn't tie in with the square design of the vehicle.
I'm going to switch to the digital key as soon as I canTOO MANY H's
I like it if it's a subtle and clever design to the 'H' in Hyundai, but the designers went so far over the top with this that it's a little embarrassing. I wish the Hyundai logo on the hood wasn't so round either.THE PHONE CHARGE INDICATORS
Way too big, they don't have to be that big.THE SECRET COMPARTMENT
The secret compartment isn't secret enough, you can see a hint of it when you take out the divider - no I'll have to find somewhere else to hide my guns and drugs!THAT EXTRA CREASE
The extra crease over the front fender, it doesn't tie in with the slab-sided nature of the rest of the car and makes the front look way too busy, I can't believe they did that!
Apart from that, I absolutely love it!
