Engine seized two months ago, got a loaner, totaled loaner, dealership won't give new loaner, still estimating few months before they fix my car. suggestions?
Post Body

Sorry if this is not the appropriate subreddit - please let me know if there's a subreddit more appropriate.

In August, my wife's 2013 Hyundai Tucson seized in the middle of the highway. We towed it to a dealership, and because it had less than 100,000 miles, they said it was under warranty. They would just need to wait for parts to arrive from corporate. In the mean time, they gave us a loaner.

Fast forward to last week, my wife gets in an accident and the car is damaged. We get it towed to the dealership. GEICO, our insurance, is happy to pay the claims to the dealership but the dealership says they are now out of loaners. Furthermore, they say that it will still be a few months before they receive the parts to start working on our Tucson.

We need a car to get to work, etc. What options do we have? How long does it typically take to receive parts? Rental is $600-700/month... Dealership is also suggesting we trade-in our Tucson and get a new car (which we can't/won't do, due to our current financial situation). Does Hyundai (corporate) have a policy on fixing items under warranty and providing loaners?
