Have you ever asked yourself āwhere do the Zonai secret stones come from?ā What if I were to tell you that they arenāt Zonai? This is my theory about the origins of the Secret Stones, and Iād like to hear your opinions on it and your own theories as well! Yeah, theorizing on the dragons got me thinking people. For any of yāall who want to read an essay rather than watch a YouTube video (I donāt make videos, but Iām considering it), then here ya go. Oh and SPOILER ALERT. Yāall should know that. So, first things first one must evaluate the secret stones to get a good look at what they are. Secret stones enhance oneās power (pay attention to my usage of the word power, it will be important), making them extremely powerful. The secret stones, no matter who their original wielder is, adjust to whoever wields them, as shown by Rauruās secret stone enhancing Zeldaās time power rather than her light power she shared with Rauru. Each wielder has a special sign shown on the secret stone that matches with their power, for example a blue secret stone with a flowing design for water. Each symbol also features the Shiekah Eye, including Ganondorfās. Ok, now letās look at some other things that may be important. I like the Sacred Realms. When the sages obtain their secret stones, they are brought to a Sacred Realm where they speak with their ancestor about fulfilling their vow as sage. Whatās most interesting is that Nintendo changes the camera angle at a certain part of each cutscene. Now why would they do that? Well, if you look closely at the background, you can see clouds. But these clouds form the Shiekah Eye. Another notable thing is how long the powers in the stones last. The stones seem to lose all of their power as soon as their wielder passes away, or if their wielder abandons the stone. This will be important later on in my theory. So now, their origins. Finally. So, Ima start with who made the stones. Well, my evidence made this quite obvious, but I believe the āZonaiā Secret Stones are actually Shiekah Secret Stones. This would actually make sense, as the Shiekah had the ability of foresight, so they would later see the usefulness of the Secret Stones. But that still leaves the question why? I mean they mustāve also, using foresight, understood why secret stones will be dangerous as well as beneficial because of the Demon King. So why? Well, power. The Triforce of courage and wisdom were evident in Skyward Sword (which I believe is the time of Rauru and Soniaās rule, as they descended from Skyloft), but power wasnāt as Demise couldnāt wield it because he isnāt mortal. So, where was it? Without a proper wielder, it was in shards. The Sheikah, to prevent anyone (particularly Ganondorf of ToTK) from getting it, hid the pieces of it away in Secret Stones, thus granting secret stones the power to enhance oneās power. So how did the Triforce of Power exist during Ocarina of Time? Well, nobody wielded a secret stone. And as I previously said, without a wielder, the secret stones are powerless. So chances are without power, the triforce reunited in oot Ganondorf (and tp, but they are the same guy) and then broke apart again without a wielder in botw. Once again, this is just a theory (and a wacky one at that) and I wanna hear yours if you want to provide me with one and your feedback on my theory. Iām actually putting this here cause a certain someone in this subreddit gave my theory feedback and I liked it.
