Hi everyone. I’m 26f with hypothyroidism and hashimoto’s. I’ve been on armour 90mg for about 2 years now. As of lately I have noticed weight gain (15 pounds in 2 years - which isn’t bad but not good when i’m trying to lose it) , severe face/neck sweating and hair loss where my dermatologist diagnosed me with alopecia areata. the derm increased my spirnolactone to 100mg but my endocrinologist told me that the right medicine dose will fix everything and not to worry about other medications or vitamins. This has all been in the last probably 6 months or so - has anyone else on this medication experienced an increase of symptoms? My mom found a recent article for armour having hair loss as a side effect and I just wanted to compare symptoms or experiences. Levo didn’t work on me at all so I don’t want to go back to that. I just feel like my thyroid issues drain me of any ounce of pretty or femininity i have. I miss me. Advice? Thank you!
