Is it possible to have hypothyroidism if your test results come back negative?
Post Body

About 5 years ago I was experiencing a lot of the classic symptoms of hypothyroidism and went to get a blood test - they said my TSH levels were fine. I know it sounds silly, but I had never been so sure of a google diagnostic before. Since then, my symptoms have gotten worse. Specifically I struggle with: - random periods of weight gain - over the past 5 years I’ve gained about 20 pounds and it’s always happened in weird 5-10 pound increments within a very short time frame. No changes to diet. I work out more than anyone I know and cannot lose weight for the life of me. - exhausted all the time. I can get 8-10 hours of sleep and still be exhausted and unable to get out of bed. - hair loss - I am actually noticing a small bald spot on the back of my scalp - constipation, even though I definitely eat enough fiber and drink enough water - mood and memory issues - low resting heart rate. I thought maybe it was due to being in good shape but it’s in the low 50s.

Is it worth me going to a different doctor and getting tested again? Are there other tests they can run that may be indicators of hypothyroidism? I’m so frustrated with all of the above symptoms, nothing seems to help
