Can you stop being Hypo?

Post Body

I was diagnosed with Hypo in my early twenties. Took synthroid for many years. Went off because I was traveling and difficult to get. Then- when I come back to doctors in US, am tested again and told I no longer need it. My pituitary gland is working hard to compensate, they said- but numbers are in borderline normal range. I still have all of the symptoms, and they are getting worse. What? Any ideas?

Borderline normal with symptoms getting worse is not โ€œhealed.โ€ Numbers will continue to trend down. Advocate for your health!
