I was diagnosed with Hypo in my early twenties. Took synthroid for many years. Went off because I was traveling and difficult to get. Then- when I come back to doctors in US, am tested again and told I no longer need it. My pituitary gland is working hard to compensate, they said- but numbers are in borderline normal range. I still have all of the symptoms, and they are getting worse. What? Any ideas?
Borderline normal with symptoms getting worse is not โhealed.โ Numbers will continue to trend down. Advocate for your health!
