Trigger warning: rabies
I went to a pet shelter today and decided to take one of the dogs for a walk to see how he was. Dog was great but after I put hand sanitizer on and realized I had a new cut on my thumb. I wasn’t bit or scratched obviously but I’m worried there was saliva on the shelters leash and it got into my cut. Someone talk some sense into me. The leash wasn’t wet that I remembered but they use those leashes on all the dogs there. I’m freaking out. Please help.
