Hello there. If you’re reading this, it can be reasonably assumed that you’re interested in being hypnotized by me or have clicked onto my profile after recently having been hypnotized by some of my scripts. I have written many inductions in the past, and have had several successful sessions with all sorts of folks and all kinds of fun making new friends online.
But. Unfortunately, a few folks, and I’m not pointing fingers or naming names or picking on one gender over another or being ageist about it, but for whatever reason: some people are bad at making a proper introduction, and that is not great for making a first impression. Sometimes people want to be hypnotic subjects but they do not actually want to go through the basic process of properly introducing themselves to someone who is new to them and they have not interacted with online before. I have gotten frustrated with having to harp on it at an individual level, and so I am making this basic, simple guide with the steps I require so that I can pin it to my profile as well, and hopefully, maybe, just possibly, it will be enough to make my inbox more manageable, and more importantly help to educate some ignorant people. I don’t know how they missed learning how to do this, but, that’s not the point. The point is that this may help both now and in the future for lots of folks.
So, a proper introduction, to me, especially in the contexts of reddit and my various postings on this profile, has to have at least these 5 things.
1, your name, because no introduction is really complete without sharing at least that information.
2, your location, because in the age of the internet there is no reason to assume both parties are in the same area, especially in the introduction. 3, your age and gender and other basic information that you think you would like to share, because there are always some things that would be immediately obvious to someone if you were to meet them in person, so you should put forward some of those sorts of details when meeting a new person.
4, your reason for writing the introduction, whether that be responding to a specific script I wrote, or looking for something like a request for a session, or making a particular suggestion for a future script. Whatever made you decide to write the introduction, be it any of those or none of them, you should tell me what it is that made you decide to write to me to begin with, please and thank you.
Finally, 5, your limits, goals, and hopes for what I will be able to do for you, because if you would like to work with me on something, or would like to ask for my help with a particular problem, or you want to do a session with me, whatever you would be hoping for in my response, I will certainly have follow-up questions. The more information that you give me beforehand as part of your introduction, the more likely you are to get a positive answer.
If you can’t manage to do that much when you are writing an introduction to me, then I will match your effort. “Hi” “Hey” “What’s up?” “Nothing.” Is not a conversation I actually find interesting. Actually try, or don’t bother, because any less than this is not going to meet my standards for social interaction on the internet. Thank you, and I hope you’re having a good day out there.
Happy Trancing!
P.s. I will even provide my own introduction to you as an example.
1: “Hey there, My name is Scott,”
2: “I’m currently in Spain, but originally from Tennessee, USA”
3: “and am 29, Male, with 11 years of experience as a hypnotist.”
4: “I saw your recent posting looking for a hypnotist, and figured I might as well put my profile forward for consideration. If you’d like to click through and check to see if you like my style, I’d be up for having a session sometime if you’re interested.”
5: “I don’t do anything with bodily waste or that would normally involve EMS, but other than that, I’m pretty flexible in general. I look forward to hearing from you, and if I don’t, then no harm meant. Hope you’re having a good day out there!”
