I got a nice new Cloud Flight S wireless headset last week and for the most part it has worked great for gaming and talking on Discord. However, there is a weird issue where specific games (so far it has only been Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Worms Reloaded) do not produce any sound at all. If I don't have my headset connected they make sound fine, but the moment I connect it they will not play sound, even if I force the application's sound output to be my headset and disable my laptop's built-in speakers. Checking the sound mixer, it doesn't even show the app as producing noise when the headset is connected, even when I crank up the app-specific volume to max. I've tried both with and without the surround sound support, I have tried restarting my computer, reinstalling the games and my headset drivers, all to no avail.
Anyone have any ideas?
