Ok, I know there must me something I'm missing but for the life of me I cannot figure it out.

I've installed the free 2016 Hyper-v twice, and now I'm playing with the 'Modern Desktop Deployment and Management Lab Kit' from here. No matter what I do, VM's on host are getting an IP, GW, SM & DNS Suffix info from my DHCP (pfsense) but can never ping, tracert or web access anything. The host has internet access and can ping the GW but not the VM. I've also recreated the 'external' vswitch to try to change something.

This is a nested install on top of ESXi in case that means something and/or is the cause of the issue (I don't think so but..).

Also, behind a pfsense (mentioned above) FW/Router/DHCP/DNS etc. fwiw.

On the host I've tried DHCP assignment via MAC reserve and I've set static IP, no change. (rebooted host and vm just in case)
