Failover IP
Post Body

I have two physical servers, each running Windows Server 2022 and each with 1 Windows Server 2022 VM.

Each VM runs the same application that is there to receive data from an appliance. They are almost identical, they just exist to support a specific physical site. In the event either server goes down, I want to move the VM to the opposite physical server. That part is easy, but each site has an appliance looking to a specific IP address which is the VM. How do I retain this IP if I move the VM to a different host? I don't want to have to change the IP address on the appliance in the event of a failure, so wondering how to accomplish this. I'm new to Hyper-V, so any documentation or ideas would be great.
