I have recently been toying with entry level hydroponics. I started out testing whether I was going to keep up with it by playing with a DWC downspout setup and fell in love with growing my own veggies. However my wife won't keep up with replenishing nutrients while I'm away on work trips so I need to go to an automated system. I decided (originally) to go with a combo DWC/NFT system like the YouTuber "Simple Greens Hydroponics" builds in the link below:

Before I get roasted I have since realized that a full NFT setup is probably more beneficial but I don't want to waste the supplies and money that I've already sunk into this. I will be starting the build today and would like to use the sleeves to do more of a full NFT setup. Anyone have any recommendations for my modification to his design? Thanks!
