Post Body

I have been having difficulty with bacteria. I purchased a chiller thinking it would help resolve. Total water, and recirculation is 12 gallons including the reservoir with two plant sites inside the tent. Water temperature has been held at 67°F. After sterilizing and bleaching all the equipment and tubes, I decided to run sterile this time. I introduced UC roots into a stable ph of 5.8 at 3 ml. per gallon. Last night I took my system up to 375ppm which includes the 200ppm existing in the tap water. Today we noticed the PH shot up to 7.5, which is consistent with the bacteria problem we had last time. This time the cooling is in place. I am using emerald harvest nutrients and obviously no beneficial bacteria. Any ideas or suggestions would be so appreciated. ❤️
