Growing Little Gem Lettuce in an Aerogarden but getting brown tips?

Every time I grow this the inside/tips go brown. I’ve tried putting a fan on them, I’ve lowered the amount of fertilizer (the aerogarden fertalizer) I also have a PH around 5.5. I’m at a loss currently as to why this keeps happening. Can anyone share some insight?
