It seems like the "game" part of Hydroneer might be running around to the different towns for supplies (pipes, conveyors, logic) and to Icehelm for the forge, and then repairing broken filters, miners and harvesters. Or, is the "game" primarily a driving game to see how far you can drive the car before getting stuck on a light pole? Or maybe it's a stacking game like Tetris to see how many objects you can fit on a purchasing platform? And what's up with the random rejection of gravity by objects from time to time? Is the "game" just time suck? Once you have an automated drill/harvester/smelter combo set up gold and money ceases to be a barrier to buying parts. Is creative mode better just a better way to avoid all of the above?
