I'm so glad that challenges are a thing once again, and in Gungeon too! A perfect challenge for such an occasion is one I've cooked up here. The "Survive to Retirement" challenge.

Character: The Marine.

Starting items: Badge, Rolling Eye, Ballistic Boots, and Betrayer's Shield.

Rules: If the cop dies, the challenge is failed. Protect him at all costs. Anything else goes.

Banned items: Full Metal Jacket, Mass Shotgun, The Judge, Bionic Leg, Deck4rd, and Grasschopper. All form a synergy that makes the cop invincible, obviously ruining the challenge.

Win condition: The farthest I've been able to get is Floor Three's boss. Either get past there or amass 350 coins to finally retire safely and win the challenge.

Easier Challenge: Start also with Knife Shield and/or Liquid Valkyrie.

Harder Challenge: Start also with Baby Good Mimic. If either die, the challenge is failed.

The Most Important Part: Making an entertaining video. Not all the rules are set in stone, change a few if you'd like. And have a damn good time... unless you don't, in which case feel free to rage to the high heavens. Love ya Hutts.
