Rhule didn’t come to NU for the money. It was the right fit for what his strengths are as a turn around guru and it seems like he enjoys the fans and dedication of the fans.

He also came because of TC and TA. They were all aligned with a vision and support from all three. That portion has eroded, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he at least has some second thoughts on leaving.

The good news are a combo of several things. Dylan Raiola, a probable top ten national defense and a huge buyout contract.

That was a little golden egg that turned out to be huge at this point, and really, Trev may had always set sights higher than AD at NU and signed a long term contract because he knew he would leave soon. This of course is a huge risk if Rhule doesn’t pan out, but the guy looks like he’s going to get us back. No one since Osborne I don’t think the fan base has mostly collectively claimed.

I think he’s locked in for at least this year, and depending on how the President and AD hirings go will determine his long term decision.
