Title says it all! Two weeks from today we will have elections for City Council and School Board for City of Huntsville. Local elections are probably the most impactful for the local residents in the City of Huntsville and yet we are tracking a 6-10% turnout for local election vote as a whole. Who do you support and what is your plan to vote?

For City Council you have Bill Kling - incumbent vs Mark Clouser - challenger. I encourage everyone in District 4 to reach out and find out more information on these two before election time to make your decision! Read up on each and reach out to the individual campaigns to see where they stand on issues and who you want to see as the face of the district in Huntsville going forward.

For School board you have Ryan Renaud - incumbent vs Ricky Howard - challenger. The schools for City of Huntsville are a regular topic among most people and in the news cycles. You need to evaluate the two candidates and find out which one you think is most qualified to best work on behalf of parents and teachers to resolve the problems we have in the City of Huntsville.

We have a lot of growth potential in the City of Huntsville, but we also have a lot of problems, and those problems are solved by getting to the voting booth and expressing your desire for a better Huntsville! So, District 4 (as well as 2 3 also voting at the same time) what is your plan to vote and research the candidates? Again, local elections have the most direct impact on your daily lives here in Huntsville but with a paltry 6-10% turn out, you cannot let just 5-10% of the electorate decide how your roads, schools, police, and infrastructure is allocated and spent! I highly encourage everyone to get out and vote this election cycle and make a difference in your local community!
