Choosing a firearm for multiple purposes.
Post Body

Hi guys, new to the group. Got a quick question. I have always bought guns for myself but now I have 2 daughters, and a wife who I want to teach to hunt. I have a savage 22lr to start them all off, but from there i would like to move them up to a low recoil rifle that can take down white tail and hogs. I'm also trying not to exceed 600 bucks for the rifle, decent optics, and a bipod attachment. So after months of reading, watching videos, lurking forums, etc., I have narrowed my search down to 25-06, 6.5creedmoor, or 30-30. The 30-30 I'm looking at is the mossberg 464 lever action. The 25-06 and 6.5creedmoor I have options from several manufacturers including savage, mossberg, Thompson, etc. Thoughts? Advice? Comments?

Edit: thank you all for your comments and suggestions. But to make things more streamlined in the future, i have a few things to add. I am 100% choosing one of the 3 calibers I mentioned initially. I have years of surface consideration and months of intensive reasearch leading me to believe that these three cartridges would serve my purposes best. Also I'm looking for as much personal experience as possible. I can use google and I can read charts. I have all the empirical data I could ask for and I have already made decisions regarding the size of the load, the potential weight of guns, the potential length of barrels, and the effects of all those variables on felt recoil, effective range, accuracy at long distances, and a dozen other factors. I would also like to state that I am not a deer hunter, I'm a target shooter. I just so happen to now have land full of hogs and deer and why would I let such valuable resources go to waste. But the main purpose of this particular gun is target shooting, teaching the women and small children in my family to shoot out to 1000 yards in my great grandfather's old pastures. Hunting is a secondary consideration, but a consideration nonetheless.
