Hey there r/hunting !,
New hunter here trying to get ready for the fall. I know some family friends in my local rod and gun club who I could potentially go on hunts with but I wanted to see if anyone had some book recommendations to help me learn the basics. I'll be bow hunting and I was looking for things like "how to tan hides" or probably before that "how to prepare a dead deer". I read a good book called: Tom Brown's Field Guide to Nature Observation and Tracking - which is more about how to find an animal but I need something on what to do with it once I've got it! Thanks in advance,
