Sorry if this is a bit out of place, I'd post in a Louisiana hunting sub if there was one.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there are any of y'all that hunt rabbits, specifically in SE Louisiana.
I've seen some videos of people, without dogs, walking through marshy areas and basically flushing rabbits out of brushy areas where they can hide. I'm really interested in trying it out, but I have two issues.
One, I have no idea where these videos where filmed other than somewhere in SE Louisiana.
Two, I'm limited to public land. However, I'm pretty sure the videos I've seen were shot on public land as well.
So if anyone can help me out with recommendations, whether they be locations or general technique, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
