Hello-

I am getting ready for deer hunting this year and thinking about getting my grandpas old Winchester model 98 as I will be hunting in low lands this year so my shots will be under 150 yards.

My eyes are not what the use to be and it looks like I can buy fiber sights for it but also looks like it’s not as straight forward as it looks.

I won’t do any cutting or anything that I can’t change back.

Was also looking at the Pearson mounts and putting a red dot on it but seams like it would throw off the balance. It’s a no drill mount. https://universalopticsrail.com
