Snow Shoe hare hunting
Post Body

Hi guys,

This will be my first attempt at getting Snowshoe hares. Its an excuse to get out there before grouse season starts. I've heard it's difficult to get them, especially in summer. I'll be just using a 22. And I'll be solo, but potentially might have a friend who could come along. I live in the South caribou BC, Canada. I'm very remote. There's lots of spruce, Aspen, and pine around but also a lot of burnt forest. Its pretty hot right now in the high twentys. Wondering if anyone had some tips for me, anything at all that might help, id be very appreciative. I've looked online but all I can find is for late fall, and using dogs etc.
