So, since HxH is back, I was sorta thinking about stuff as of late. There have been a lot of posts talking about how Tserri might end up becoming a better person (through his crush on Theta and learning Nen, the idea being that Nen might be more fun to him than ruling) and people have talked about how Halk might go down an "evil path", what with how his ability seemingly works and interesting naming that Togashi decided to go with. So I wanted to take it a step further:
You recall how Halk is like, one of the few if not the only of the brothers that Tserri is on good terms with? Sure would be ironic if he ends up killing Tserri then, wouldn't it? I mean, consider this - Halk is out here trying to, essentially, get Benjamin's body (and honestly, talk about mommy issues here alone) but what if he doesn't stop there? What if his next goal would be to get from Benjamin into Tserri? And what if he does it through, you guessed it, Morena.
Right now, Tserri is looking for Morena, and to your average dude, Morena would be the "evil one" so Tserri is doing a "good thing" - perfect for his image. Meanwhile, Half, in Benjamin's body, could do the opposite and work with her to lure Tserri somewhere and yonk his body.
I thought about it for a long time, and it just feels like having your body taken away by your sibling is THE most fitting end for Tserri, does it not? Like, ultimate violate of his autonomy, that which he valued the most? Now forced to not only be in the body of the brother he hates and wants dead, but possibly forced to stay in that body as it is dying? Literally "brilliant mind in a broken body" kind of deal? Sure can teach him about humility before he passes.
That implies, I think, that Theta won't be better off either. I mean, Tserri and Theta have one messed up relationship, right? But, ultimately, I feel like it would lead to Theta becoming worse through Tserri - I feel like he would want to "encourage" her "sadism". So, if we take all of this into account, what if Tserri (now Halk) will use Theta to kill Benjamin (now Tserri) before killing her himself now that she is of no further use to him?
I think that the one to divide things into "useful trash and useless trash" might not be Tserri after all. Perhaps I am wrong, but Halk in Tserri's body (meaning having his abilities) just sounds like the final villain, and on top of that, it does feel like something his mother would put him up to (again, go back to mommy issue question)
