Do i have to pay for brookdale dorms if i transfer out of hunter next semester

A Genuine question that i have. I am considering transferring to another school next semester. I currently dorm at Brookdale. Could i just transfer out/leave and not be liable to pay brookdale for the spring semester?
I know it sound like an obvious answer but i seriously dont know.
