Change to the matchmaking algorithm?

I feel like I’m a very average at best player. I just hit level 100 and my k a/d is about 1.2 but ever since the the Halloween event ended I’m getting matched with destroyed by and players with 2-4 k a/d. I played about 10 matches on Saturday and every match was the same.

On the previous patch I never saw anyone with more than a 1.5 k a/d ratio. Did something change or was my luck just extremely unfortunate?

I really liked this game but getting pooped on every single game with players that have significantly higher elo isn’t fun.
