Is Surefoot bugged rn??

I ask bc the way to run faster is by crouching one time to activate the speed boost. Crouching one time gives you a speed boost and crouching again turns the speed boost off… i noticed this while I was playing. I read the description of the surefoot trait and I really don’t think Crytek meant this. Or, am I just missing something? Just wondering!
