Greetings artists! Looking to commission a full-body portrait of a character I've been playing in multiple TTRPG campaigns, cameos, forum play-by-posts, LARP, and online roleplay for over 13 years. I hope that my passion for this character will synergize with you to help you create an excellent piece!

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR

• The ability to replicate Wayne Reynolds' iconic style [https://www.waynereynolds.com/]
• One full body character in a static pose
• Full color and shading, No detailed background
• Digital media, dual background types (both PNG, one transparent background, one with whatever background we end up with), unless your ability to create traditional media is on par with the quality of digital pieces through scanning. If the original piece is sent, physical mail is OK if it can be shipped securely.
• High resolution for physical printing to hang in the home and digital scaling (4k preferred before scaling)
• Relaxed deadline - I'm not in a rush, but don't want to be left waiting for an eternity, so I want a deadline. I want your best work, and want to give you the time to do your best work.

I'm willing to go over my budget if the piece is exceptional.

If the piece is done well, I may request a follow-up action shot with full background.

UPDATE 5/9/2021: Thank you to everyone who has responded so far! I've started building a short list, but I plan on keeping this thread open for at least two weeks longer.

Update 5/10/2021: Added more details about the demands of the project and the expected digital media format/resolution.

Update 5/11/2021: Wow! I want to say thank you to all the awesome artists applying to this job, I'm blown away and it's only the third day! I'm just sad that I can't pick you all! I also added some information to the end of the post, specifying when I'm going to be contacting those who made the shortlist.

Update 5/14/2021: Well, the rate of incoming applications seems to be slowing down. I was initially going to have the application period going until 5/23, but I'm shortening it to 5/19 since most of the applications seem to be in already. My shortlist is up to date, but I need to narrow it down even further to probably 5 people I'll get in touch with about stuff like rates, contract conditions, possible (Paid!) art tests for Wayne Reynolds' style, and project details. While I haven't posted an update in a few days, I'm still here! Just busy.

Update 5/18/2021: In preparation for notifications tomorrow, I've narrowed my short list down from 15 to 5. Unless someone enters the top 5 in the next day, I'll be reaching out to each of these 5 with more details about the project as soon as I'm able.
