Hi. Just watched TBOS & gotta admit that I liked it.

I assumed it would have too many much "message" in it, so I was pleasantly surprised that it was so fun to watch and didn't have the usual tropes like I had heard.
Anyways, I wanted to come here first because I'm confused about what happened once they "ran away" to the woods? It was obvious there was more than meets the eye going on with their motives, but I completely missed it. What happened to her & did she set him up or did he set that ending up?
