So, I'm starting today at Humber North campus for Tourism and I'm a bit nervous. I'm 35, so I'm almost twice the age of most of the students. How does a more mature student navigate the more social aspects of College when I'm more or less ancient in most student's eyes? Like, I'd like to meet people, join clubs and the like. But with my age I almost feel... Out of place? Awkward? Not really sure how to explain it more than that. Excited about the program though, all the professors are friendly and lively and all very great people, so far.
