I normally pump 4 times a day 13 weeks pp. I had a really crazy day and my morning pump got pushed to almost midday. I pumped for an hour total at this pump instead of trying to make up the pump. I didn't stop pumping until the milk stopped and produced exactly double the normal amount.
Then on our way home later my older daughter took a really bad fall and we had to make an emergency stop with family until she felt able to handle the drive home. I hand expressed probably half my normal output for my "third" over two sessions while there to feed baby and relieve pressure.
I have just finished my last pump and produced my normal amount. I have a small clog but nothing I would normally worry about beyond taking some ibuprofen.
My output for the day isn't particularly low compared to normal but should I be concerned about having technically missed 2 pumps (maybe only 1 if you count the hand expression)? Or is the amount of milk drained more important?
