Game Crashes On Launch (Steam Version) - "The cloud file provider is not running"

When I start the game, the logo appears in the taskbar for a moment and then the game closes. When I look at the diagnostics file in my game folder, everything looks fine except one critical issue: The cloud file provider is not running : 'C:\Users\-\AppData\Local\Temp\AMPLITUDE Studios\Humankind\Mount\612547614\Registry.xml'. After this error, the game quits. Does anyone know what this means and how I might be able to go about fixing it?

I'm running on a laptop using Windows 11.

Edit: So what ended up working for me was to uninstall Onedrive altogether. I was signed in and despite that it still wasn’t working.
