I'm adding saccharomyces boulardii to my protocol for controling my candida albicans overgrowth.
If you take s. boulardii as a probiotic, how long does it "live" in the gut? (live in quotations b/c I'm not sure if that's the appropriate word).
The reason I ask is because I'm also taking antifungals as part of my candida overgrowth protocol. However, I figure to alternative the weeks I take boulardii and the antifungals so as not to reduce the efficacy of s. boulardii on my system (s. boulardii is a fungus)...
Google says that s. boulardii is likely to be gone from your system within 5 days after taking it. Does anyone else know this to be the case?
