This is so frustrating, not sure if anyone is having the same issue. Bought an Ambilight TV as well as dozens of Hue lights thinking that it would be a better setup than using the new gradient strip which has yet to be released in my area.

Unfortunately, the internal Ambilight TV app seems to be sending erratic and delayed signals, resulting in slow reactions of the Hue lights or sometimes not responding to the color that its supposed to simulate. (even when I reduced down to only 2 to 4 hue lights, the synchronization still looks absurd/retard at times)

So I hook up my pc to ambilight TV, installed the hue sync software and viola, no delays at all. Unfortunately that means I can't play content from the TV itself (TV channels, native app etc) if I want to watch with the hue lights. Really a shame.

Anyone has encountered issues with Ambilight TV and Hue lights setup? How do you resolve it? Does buying a Hue Sync Box actually help?
