Good Morning. I am having an issue with my new Hue Sync Box setup. Below is an outline of my set up, followed by the issues and the troubleshooting I've taken.
- Samsung 65" TV (No Arc) UN65HU7250F
- AppleTV
- XBOX One
- Verizon Fios Cable Box
- Vizio Sound Bar SB36512-F6
Current set up is all devices going to Hue Sync, Output of Hue Sync is going to Vizio sound bar. Sound Bar output connected to HDMI input of the TV.
AppleTV and XBOX work flawlessly, but the FIOS tv box returns only audio and a very black screen. The sync lights are working when on the cable box input so I know the video signal is being processed. Additionally the TV detects an input.
If I take the sound bar out of the equation, and plug the sync output directly to the TV then everything works. However, if I plug the cable box in to the sound bar, then the video passthrough to the TV works just fine. It's some combination of the sound bar, the sync and my FIOS cable box, although they all work independently.
I've replaced all my HDMI cables with new high speed HDMI 2.0 cables, I've checked and tripe checked all my settings.
I've been banging my head against the wall for 2 days trying to figure out what could cause the issues. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
