So I just got 10 bulbs from BBB that I ordered as part of their misprint in the ad book and as most, they were going to be gen 3. Well I'm going Room by Room and installing them and one was giving me an issue so I looked at it further to get the serial number and realized it was a 2nd gen (the color of the words hue white and color ambience are silver on 2nd gen and gold on 3rd) I then went back and looked at every other bulb and they were indeed 2nd gen! I went to inspect the other bulbs still in packaging and that's when I realized that every single box's tape was cut and they had been opened. Not a single one of my lights was 3rd gen, BBB opened up every box and replaced the 3rd gen bulbs with 2nd gen bulbs!!!!! Now I know I got a good deal but the fact that they went through so much effort to trick and deceive me has me so pissed off!!!! Everyone else who took part of this deal make sure to check your bulbs as well!
