Infuse Ceiling Light

I just installed a Hue Infuse Color Light, and it will not turn on. App found the light just fine. App says it is on. The wall switch does not turn it "off" on the app. I used a wire tester to make sure the wires were cutting power when the switch was off. The light has never actually powered on.
I am replacing an old fan/light combo. Not sure if that is relevant.
Any help is appreciated.
