Edit - Update I contacted [email protected]. I almost immediately got a response. Things seem to be moving along quickly now and I should hopefully have my Hubitat Elevation hub soon! I'm super excited to get it in hand and join the community.
I think I am ready to give up on Hubitat. I have had the worst time trying to actually get my order of the Elevation delivered and at this point am content to let them deal with my bank since I have filed a charge back.
Ordered - August 6th
E-mail saying it was shipped - August 18th @ 9:40pm
At that point I checked the expected delivery date since I was on vacation at the time. This is when I found out that it was also somehow lost in delivery by Amazon Fulfillment on the same day that I received the shipping notification.
1st email to Hubitat Customer Service - August 19th
2nd email - August 21st
3rd e-mail - August 24th
At this point with zero communication from Hubitat I decided to file a charge back on my CC to get my money back for the lost product. This charge back was filed on August 25th.
August 26th, the day after I filed the charge back I immediately got a response from Hubitat, saying that filing the charge back drew their attention to my order which they see was lost in transit. They offered to send me a replacement as they would like to work things out with me and not with the bank.
August 27th - Replied that I'd love to work it out with them, and that they could send me a replacement through USPS and gave them my address.
Sep 8th - Zero response to the email I sent on the 27th. No confirmation they got the email, or that they shipped anything, etc. Sent them one more email today saying that if I don't hear anything in 48 hours I'll continue with the charge back through my bank.
I am just super disappointed in this whole exchange. We just bought a new house and I was really excited to start messing around with some automation. I think at this point I will just be done with Hubitat and work on getting another set-up going.
