Iâll preface this by saying that I wouldnât class myself as a MASSIVE Hozier fan. I liked his first album and Iâve dabbled in his work since. I like him but wouldnât go out of my way to see him.
I ended up at the Glasgow gig last night through circumstance.
What a performance. Honestly, the guy blew me away with his singing. I always have doubts that artists can reproduce live on stage. But this guy is insanely talented, what a voice.
He looked like he really enjoyed himself too.
This was the first time I had heard âabstractâ too and when it started, there were people around me getting super emotional and I was reliably informed by my better half that he doesnât really play that song too often because itâs super sad. And it was. I listened to it again this morning and itâs very powerful. Loved it.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that Iâm now a proper fan of this man - it was an awesome performance! Shout out to his band too, great artists.
