How to be a gym girlie and stay in a calorie deficit?

I’ve managed to lose 10Kgs in less than year just from being in calorie deficit and now I’m starting my fitness journey and I found that I really like cardio and weight lifting, however, if I don’t have a carb-heavy pre-workout meal before going to the gym, I feel tired and sluggish and don’t perform at my best and then I come back home feeling very hungry and end up overeating and going over my calorie goal. Any suggestions on how I can deal with this?

I usually have a sugary snack before workout but never thought of it having it post-workout instead that’s interesting

I’ve had a trainer before and she said since I’m not aiming to bulk, 80-100 grams per day is ideal for me. Everyone here just thinks that everyone should eat 100 grams of protein per day but it literally just depends on your weight and height and your goals.

I eat around 80 grams of protein per day

58kgs and I’m 164cm tall, according to myfitnesapal, I actually only need around 70grams/day

I already have myfitnesspal and actually it estimated that I only need 70 grams
