Hi, have trouble communicating to this person.

I met a girl a few years ago overseas right before covid. In summer 2021 we traveled to another country together, we met up and had a wonderful time.

i tried to plan another trip with her that year but she was not getting back to me, not responding, not confirming dates, or even changing dates after I had already bought my ticket etc. She apologized for her bad communication but now….

She messages me saying she can come visit me in the US because shes going to have a layover in a city two hours away. So i say sure i’ll drive out there (with my Jeep mpg:17 city 15hwy) gas will cost about 80 which is fair i guess. After she buys the ticket she then asks for me to split the costs (bad communication again). The ticket is almost 500 and i’m a student on loans and food stamps i don’t have much after paying utilities ($530 after). I hate how she asked after oaying because i feel as though i should? but if she asked before buying i would’ve said it’s not a great time.
