Already viewed properties in Norwood, Mitcham, Croydon, Edmonton green, Erith, Enfield. The immediate areas and general areas weren’t great too be honest and the properties themselves all had something wrong with them. One was literally a drug den and prices at £400k! We all know the London property market is ridiculous but there must be something out there that is reasonable enough and doesn’t call for a massive compromise. Now trying to stick to an area rather than scanning Rightmove/zoopla for something that fits budget/spec wise. Any suggestions are welcome.
However, some non negotiables to be aware of are that it crucially need to be walking distance from a tube/rail station (15min max) with good transport links into London for commuting (no more 1hr15 commute), plus 3 bedroom (2 bedroom maybe). Also, prefer not to have a flat as want a private garden area.
